Actions are important

I have realised that actions are important when using the law of attraction. We can bring small things and opportunities into our lives by thinking and feeling positive but to actually get things you must take action or nothing will ever happen for you. I wanted to be a actor so i thought i would sit on my bed, listern to inspirational music and visualise myself being the next spiderman in the next spiderman movies but that got me nowehere, it made me feel like i could do it but i also feel like i wasted alot of my time just thinking about it and now it's probably too late and already realistically someone elses pleasure . Now i have a small acting course coming up when i will start to act, learn and grow in confidence which cant be acheived by just visualising.

This is how i see it:

Action Taken = Im the next spiderman in the next Spiderman movies

No Action Taken = Not even close to being Spiderman

Actions are important but it all starts with visualization.  Basically, you visualized yourself as an actor and when the desire became great enough you were called to take the action of enrolling in an acting course.  Everything that I have ever visualized as and/or is in the process of coming true.  For example, I always loved to dance and wished to take lessons as early as two but my mom couldnt afford the lessons so I had to study on my own.  I thought one could only become a professional dancer if they started taking formal lessons as a toddler.  I was finally able to take formal lessons at 14 but no longer entertained the idea of becoming a pro.  Well, I kept studying and studying, just for fun and guess what, I became a professional dancer in my late 20s.  All because I had visualized at 2!  In fact, I just recently retired at 38 so that I can focus on some other goals.  Another example, I had always wanted to act but thought that I would have to start as a child to succeed.  I begged my mother to help me start a career all the time but she discouraged me.  Well, when I was 18, my mom said she would help me but I told her that it was too late because at 18, I was just too old.  Well, guess what, I got my first acting job on an Emmy winning show when I was 30 and I played an 18 year old!  Desire creates visualization which inspires purposeful, effective actions which lead to results.  I know you can achieve your goals and just how you do it will surprise you delightfully!

of course, the inspired action is a terrific thing, but i see a lot of different opinions on how much one must actually do himself in order to get what he wants. here is what abraham hicks sez about this in "ask and it is given":

And we say to you, You do have a manager who is that and much more. You have a manager who works
continually on your behalf called the Law of Attraction, and you have only to ask in order for this
Universal Manager to jump to your request.
But most of you do not see this manager in this way. You have this manager, but you continue to hold the
responsibility in your own heart. In other words, you say, “Oh yeah, the Law of Attraction is out there,
but I’ve got to do all the work.” And we say, Well, then, what good is the Law of Attraction?

and i kinda tend to agree with this. if i have to do the most myself then i might as well do it all myself and claim the credits for my success. of course, one doesn't need and can not do it all by himself which is why we talk about this stuff in the first place.
