The law of attraction is the law that regulates supply in our physical world. Our supply is our good - i.e. whatever we want and need to live a happy, healthy, comfortable life. You get to name the supply that shows up in your life.
The law of attraction has two components: desire and expectation. Both are required for manifestation.
Desire is the motive power for calling your supply forth into visible appearance. It is no use to desire a thing unless you expect to get it, either in part or in full. Desire without expectation is idle wishing. You waste valuable energy when you desire without expectation.
Continuous expectation is necessary to bring what you want into reality in your life. You can think of expectation like gravity. It's a drawing force that acts in the invisible realm.
Never expect a thing you do not want, and never desire a thing you do not expect. When you expect something you do not want, you attract the undesirable, and when you desire a thing that is not expected, you simply waste your precious mental energy. On the other hand, when you constantly expect the thing that you persistently desire, your ability to attract becomes irresistible.
Desire connects you with what you want and expectation brings it into your life. This is the Law.~ Summarized from Raymond Holliwell's "
Working With the Law."
Prosperously yours,
