My Law of Attraction Experiment for Almost 1 Year Now
« on: April 02, 2012, 01:41:10 AM »
Hello Everyone!

Hope everyone is having a super spring! My name is Aan and I've been working on a Law of Attraction experiment for almost a year now.  I've even started my own blog and youtube channel to document my work.  Here's a brief summary of some important points on what I've learned about the Law of Attraction.  I went from somewhat skeptical to full believer in the LOA!

1.) Our minds are our power.  Our thoughts determine what we do and how we feel.  Keeping a well mindset is key to attracting what you want and maintaining motivation and energy to apply towards what we want.

2.) Positive thinking alone will not attract what we want.  We have to react to the thoughts that are attracted to our minds.  The Law of Attraction to me is the Law of Thinking, Seeking, and Finding.  If we put our focus on something, answers, thoughts, and ideas will eventually arrive in our heads.  It all has to start in the mind.

3.) Our minds can only be holding a positive thought or negative thought at one time.  What will we allow to be placed on our minds? Thoughts about negative things that have happened in the past?  Negative media?  Rather we should place what we want in our minds.  Let that be the focus of our minds.  This is easier said than done, but can be practiced and achieved.

4.) Whatever energy we put out, it will be returned to us.  If we put positive energy out, positive things will return in our lives.  Likewise, if we put negative energy out, negative energy will return.  It's almost like karma! According to Earl Nightingale, every action will have an equal and opposite reaction.  The return might not come right away or directly, but it will eventually return.

5.) The LOA will bring us thoughts and ideas effortlessly.  That is why we should not be afraid to dream big.  The path or journey to dreams, however, will be different.  Wanting a phone will cost less energy, courage, and persistence than attracting a mansion.  In the end, it is up to us to decide what we are willing to aim for.  Luckily, we have a useful tool that almost guarantees our success, and that is persistence.  According to the LOA, if you never give up, you will eventually hold your goal before you.

6.) We do not have 100% control over others, but we do have 100% control over ourselves and what we allow for our minds to think. Don't worry so much about what others think, work on what we are thinking.  Always be our best friend and take care of our mind and self.  People will be automatically be attracted to people who have great thoughts. It's a great vibe to be carrying around.

7.) We, as humans, have the power to create.  When having a goal in mind, focus on it.  Then we should think of how we can better prepare ourselves for that goal.  Think of many ways to prepare ourselves and act on them.  In other words, perfect our craft.  We will find ourselves becoming the person we imagined. Then when an opportunity shows up, we can jump on it with the necessary skills or knowledge to make our goal a reality.

8.) The LOA is already here and working in our lives, learning more about it will help us put it to use with more direction and purpose.

9.) We have to be able to believe things are possible for us before they can become a reality. Belief is huge when it comes to the LOA! I've had to let go of some deep rooted beliefs I've adopted while growing up.  Right how I believe that ANYTHING is possible.

10.) Although not a requirement, having a goal that you are passionate about will be very helpful.  It will provide natural motivation and energy to pursue your goal.

Hope this helps at least a little bit.  You can learn more and see some of my work at www.yourstickymind.com

Have a superb day!

-Aan

Hi Aan thank you for sharing what you have learnt with us.

Persistence was a big key for me, I decided to stay away from newspapers and magazines as I feel lowers our vibration, and put my energy into learning about LOA and wow that was oo 3 years ago and now i have such a large understanding with it all.
Im still learning as like you say we have our own routines and deep beliefs but LOA is part of my life now and I am happy to say I am blessed to know such truths and with thanks to the internet can be around like minded people here like yourself that puts things into the right perceptive for me when i humanly go off track :D
Look forward to reading more of your success Aan and spring is great here in England  8)

Wow, thanks for posting your insights aan! I feel like I also have been on a person law of attraction mission, and as time passes by, I learn more and become better at it. It's so funny for me to look back on myself a year ago, even a month ago. I feel like the law of attraction has made me grow so much in a short period of time, it's amazing. :)

No problem.  Thank you for your comments. =) I think one of the biggest first step in the LOA is to have an open mind.  It's obvious that people have open minds here on this site.  Many of my personal friends and even family don't want to hear me talking about the LOA for some reason.  They won't give it a chance.  Little do they know that they are missing out on some valuable information.  I went about learning about it myself and like Vanessa202, I am still learning.  Learning about this topic really helps us learn about ourselves and helps us grow.

Currently I feel like I have a strong handle on what the LOA is and I am having a great time using it to create in my life.  I'm so grateful to have found a site like this because talking about this topic with like minded people is so refreshing!

  • Laughoutloudx3: Calm- that happens in all of my dreams & is a great mystery to me!! And that only happens with him!! Every now & then he will look like him...but some other times he will look nothing like himself, and even more bizarre is that most of the time he looks like a previous ex of mine, but yet it still really is him!! That drives me mad bc I do not know why his face appears as this other ex that I do not care about in that way. I always always know it is my guy though. I just wish he would look like him lol!!!!
